Přijďte na přehlídku nejnovějších a nejzajímavějších filmů pro digitální planetária, které byly natočeny v posledním roce. Již po třetí se v brněnském planetáriu koná DigiFest – o víkendu 9. a 10. června.
Na počátku 21. století zažíváme úžasné objevy v blízkém i vzdáleném vesmíru, které mají přesah do mnoha přírodovědných oborů. Jsme ale také svědky globálních změn – přírodních i civilizačních. Jistě se shodneme, že digitální planetárium je úžasné médium – diváci přírodopisné filmy sledují v netradičním formátu, doslova jsou obklopeni obrazem a zvukem. Letošní přehlídka, v pracovní dny pro odborníky, o víkendu pro veřejnost přináší novinky z celého světa. K vidění budou nejnovější pořady z Japonska, Spojených států, Chile, Polska, Německa i Ruska. Do přehlídky bylo dosud přihlášeno 37 filmů z 19 států světa (Polsko, Rusko, Japonsko, USA, Francie, Německo, Ukrajina, Chile, Austrálie, Argentina, Nový Zéland, Řecko, Kanada, Čína, Portugalsko, Anglie, Španělsko, Mexiko, Česko). Pokud byste je chtěli vidět všechny, pak se připravte na 14 hodin nepřetržitého promítání! Celkový objem dat na našich datových úložištích přitom dosáhne 30 terabytů. Což je asi 7000 dévédéček!
Všechny promítnuté filmy se utkají hned o tři ceny – odborné veřejnosti, mezinárodní poroty a ředitele Hvězdárny a planetária Brno. Mezinárodní porotu letos představuje Thomas Kraupe – ředitel Planetária Hamburg, nejnavštěvovanějšího planetária v Německu a vlastně i v Evropě, Yuri Kostenko, výkonný ředitel ukrajinské společnosti vyvíjející software a hardware pro digitální planetária, a Jakub Rozehnal, ředitel Hvězdárny a planetária hlavního města Prahy.
Záštitu nad přehlídkou Fulldome Festival Brno i DigiFest převzal ministr školství, mládeže a tělovýchovy Robert Plaga, primátor statutárního města Brna Petr Vokřál a hejtman Jihomoravského kraje Bohumil Šimek.
Tři vítězné pořady, spolu s dalšími filmy vybranými pracovníky Hvězdárny a planetária Brno, budou ke zhlédnutí v rámci přehlídky DigiFest 2018. Konkrétně se jedná o pořady

Lucia, the secret of the shooting stars
Vladimir, the polar bear and James the penguin, take the path of space aboard the Polaris to study polar auroras. Hit by a meteorite, they crash at the foot of a pre-Columbian pyramid and meet Lucia, hummingbird, passionate about the rocks. She tells them about a legend evoking stones of light … Meteorites, shooting stars, stones of light intrigue them. Magnetism: Defending our Planet Defining our Cosmos
MAGNETISM is a full dome planetarium show that demonstrates how the Earth’s magnetic field protects our planet from energetic particles from the Sun and galaxy, and how the magnetic field also protects the water in our atmosphere from being swept away by the solar wind. It shows the first aurora seen simultaneously from the ground and from the ISS, and tells about the MMS mission (Magnetospheric Multiscale) and its quest to understand the magnetic connection between the Earth and the Sun. MAGNETISM is produced in collaboration with the Houston Museum of Natural Science, Rice University, and Evans & Sutherland.
Unikátní přehlídka Fulldome Festival Brno
Myšlenka je vcelku jednoduchá – město Brno se vždy prezentovalo jako kulturní a nyní i vědecká metropole, a proto bychom jej rádi obohatili o pravidelný mezinárodní festival filmů do digitálních planetárií. Žádné přednášky, workshopy, odborný program! Jen a pouze projekce nejnovějších pořadů pro digitální planetária. Podmínkou je, že film musí mít uzavřený příběh (až na výjimky nepromítáme školní práce ani videoart), vzdělávací charakter a datum prvního uvedení ne více než 18 měsíců před festivalem.
O tom, že má taková úvaha smysl, svědčí vysoká návštěvnost i pozitivní ohlasy od prvního ročníku. Přehlídka Fulldome Festival Brno – tehdy ještě s přídomkem „středoevropská“ – začala v roce 2014. Autorská představení tehdy pocházela z Austrálie, Japonska, Thajska, Ruska, Ukrajiny, Polska, Německa, Francie a Spojených států amerických. Napříč naší planetou cestovali i producenti jednotlivých pořadů.
Totéž se podařilo zorganizovat i v dalších letech, navíc na odbornou část navázala i veřejná přehlídka DigiFest, na které se promítá výběr těch nejlepších. Představení, které si odnese cenu ředitele Hvězdárny a planetária Brno přitom bývá zařazeno do repertoáru brněnského digitária.
